Meet The One on One Team

Matthew Sonricker​

Matthew Sonricker is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and co-owner of One on One Physical Therapy of WNY. Graduating with his DPT from the University at Buffalo in 2013, he received the “Clinical Excellence” award for outstanding performance in patient care. Along with using manual therapy to treat orthopedic conditions, Matt specializes in vestibular dysfunction and TMJ disorder. He returned back to UB and in 2019 earned his Executive-MBA degree. He is active member in the American Physical Therapy Association with the aim of improving the healthcare system by decreasing costs while making it available for everyone.

A Buffalo native, he is a season ticket holder for the Buffalo Bills and an avid baseball fan, where he roots for San Francisco Giants. In his free time, he enjoys staying active by playing softball, hiking, kayaking and visiting dog parks with his wife Krista and Golden Retriever “Murphy”. Krista and Matt welcomed their second child into the family in February of 2021. Matt values his family dearly and believes “health, family and community” is the key to a fulfilling life. As a business owner, Matt hopes to make a positive impact on his community and promote healthy living.

Adam Palumbo​

Adam Palumbo is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and co-owner of One on One Physical Therapy of WNY. As a youth, he was a stand-out hockey goalie in Cheektowaga, NY. Adam earned his Doctorate from D’Youville College in 2014. His passion for physical therapy and helping patients is evidenced by his dedication to continuing education. He has vast experience in orthopedics, vestibular therapy, functional movement analysis, manual therapy; and is now trained in Balanced Body Pilates. Adam sets the bar high and continues to put his efforts toward becoming the best physical therapist he can be. His kindness and commitment to helping people improve their overall wellness through exercise can be seen each and every day.

Adam maintains a very active lifestyle and has now climbed 16 of the Adirondack “46ers” (mountains). He has been participating and competing in athletics since childhood and most recently completed his 8th half-marathon. Adam is a resident of Buffalo and enjoys spending time with his family and especially his two nieces. Most recently, Adam has undergone ACL reconstruction surgery, “the whole scenario has been enlightening and has given me even greater empathy and understanding of what my patients are going through.” He plans on getting back to doing the things he loves and is excited to continue helping his patients.

Melissa Gorski​

Melissa Gorski is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating with her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Sports Studies in 2015 and her DPT in 2018 from D’Youville College. She is a graduate of Depew High School where she was a student athlete and active on student council.

Melissa is an active member of the community and is passionate about giving back. She has been volunteering at the Buffalo City Mission for the past 15 years. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, exploring the various parks in Western New York, and listening to live music. When she is not working, exercising, exploring, or at a concert, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has been married since 2019 and along with her husband, Jonathan, is expecting a daughter at the end of the summer! Melissa is excited to be the newest member of the One on One family and looks forward to helping each of her patients reach their personal goals!

Brian Jandzinski

Brian is a Doctor of Physical Therapy; graduating with his doctorate from D’Youville University in 2022. Prior to that Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in Pre-Physical Therapy in 2019 from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. Since receiving his degree, Brian has garnered continued education credits in gait analysis and has clinical experience in both pediatric and sports medicine settings. A Lancaster native, Brian graduated from LHS in 2015 where he excelled as a Scholar Athlete. While in High School, Brian served as the Vice President for the Lancaster Health Care Academy and earned 4 Varsity letters between Lacrosse & Basketball. As Captain of the Baldwin Wallace University Lacrosse Team, Brian started every game of his 4-year career for the Yellow Jackets. Dr. Jandzinski has over 5 years’ coaching experience with youth athletes.

In his free time, Brian enjoys watching sports; his favorite teams being the Buffalo Bandits and the Buffalo Bills (of course!). In addition, he enjoys exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, and visiting Ohio.

Sydney McDonough

One on One PT is proud to have Dr Sydney McDonough as part of our Physical Therapy team! Sydney graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Daemen College in 2021. In her final year of Graduate School, Sydney, along with three of her classmates, competed against students from the top Universities in the nation and finished first in the 2021 American Physical Therapy Association Knowledge Bowl.

Sydney is certified in the McKenzie MDT treatment method for spinal injuries and is thus passionate about treating back and neck pain. She also has a special place in her heart for athletes as she ran track while attending Daemen College. Sydney continues to hold multiple school track and field records.

Sydney initially completed a clinical rotation at One on One Physical Therapy and quickly became an integral part of the team. Since graduation Sydney has worked as a travelling Physical Therapist in South Carolina, Virginia, Colorado; as well as in other parts of New York State. In addition to her obvious talent in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, Sydney has experience with neurologic based therapy as well as in performing PT treatments in a school-based setting.

In her free time Sydney enjoys hiking, running, traveling to National Parks and exploring different cities. Sydney holds her family, friends and the Buffalo Bills close to her heart. Her favorite part of being a Physical Therapist is building a connection with patients and helping them return to the activities they love!

Tiana Wieczorek

We are proud to announce Tiana Wieczorek has joined the One on One PT team! Tiana received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from D’Youville University in spring 2023. Her undergraduate studies were concentrated in Exercise Science with a special interest in competitive dancing. Tiana has competed both locally and nationally in various styles of dance including jazz and acrobatics. Since her graduation, Tiana has provided all aspects of rehabilitation therapy to our One on One patients, as well as continuing to train athletes. Tiana continues to be an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and recently traveled to San Antonio to attend several PT-related seminars; and is pursuing Continuing Education to obtain the latest knowledge of PT practices and trends.

As a Depew/Lancaster native she continues to give back to her community and enjoys her free time helping friends by babysitting and dog sitting; as well as getting in some traveling herself.

Ashley Schoenhardt

Ashley Schoenhardt is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating from Daemen College in 2021. While in graduate school, she was actively involved in the Student PT Association (SPTA. Following graduation, she worked as a traveling PT in several cities, including Boston, Baltimore, and Tucson. Ashley has also gained valuable experience working in school-based settings, where she focused on assistive device prescriptions and fittings for children with disabilities.

Ashley attended Hamburg High School, where she participated in gymnastics and was the captain of the cheerleading team. She values spending quality time with friends and family, going hiking and exploring new places. Going forward, she hopes to enjoy vacations by traveling across the country and around the world.

Ashley is actively involved in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, raising funds and participating in events around our community. Ashley’s passion for physical therapy, commitment to patient care, and diverse experiences make her a valuable asset to the One on One Team!

Taylor Billings

Taylor Billings is the newest member of our front office and is transitioning to the role of Office Manager.

After graduating from Lancaster High School, Taylor attended the University at Buffalo, where she received a Masters Degree in Public Health in 2022. She is a certified group fitness instructor and teaches group classes.

Her interests are traveling (she has traveled to 8 countries outside of the US and continues to add to her list!), exercising, being outdoors, hiking and taking her dog for walks in new parks.

Anne Schick

Anne Schick, a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) graduate from Daemen College in 2021, brings her expertise and enthusiasm to our rehabilitation team at One on One. Anne started her career as a traveling therapist, which took her to multiple states—Georgia, Florida, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado; allowing her to hone her skills by working with diverse patient populations.

Anne’s passion lies in assisting post-operative and neurological patients, where she combines evidence-based practices with personalized care. As a Lancaster native, Anne’s commitment to her community extends beyond clinical settings. Her journey began as a competitive gymnast, a sport she pursued for an impressive 15 years. During her college years, Anne continued to coach gymnastics, nurturing young athletes and instilling a love for movement and health.

Outside of work, Anne thrives on outdoor adventures. Whether it’s spending time at the beach, exploring around her cottage on Lake Erie, fishing, paddle boarding, or hiking during warmer months, she embraces an active lifestyle. When winter arrives, Anne swaps her hiking boots for snowboarding gear. And through it all, she remains a dedicated sports fan, passionately cheering for the Bills, Sabres, and Bandits. Anne Schick embodies the spirit of wellness, both professionally and personally, making her an invaluable asset to our One on One team.
